About
Dr. Jakub Bartnik D.O.
Dr. Jakub Bartnik is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with over a decade of experience treating adults and kids with all types of medical problems - from minor to life-threatening.
He has extensive experience, working at various emergency departments in the greater New York Area, including leading a busy urban emergency department and teaching emergency medicine residents. He lectures regionally and nationally on emergency medicine topics, and participates in research to expand the field.
He started this practice to offer patient-centered care, recognizing a growing need in the community to provide care where and when it is convenient to the patient, not the doctor.
Services
Every visit begins with a convenient virtual consultation, allowing many conditions to be evaluated and treated remotely—saving you time, travel, and unnecessary expense. You’ll receive expert medical assessment, diagnosis, and prescriptions (when appropriate) directly from a board-certified emergency physician.
For concerns that require more detailed evaluation, we bring advanced diagnostics to you, including point-of-care ultrasound, EKG, and in-home lab testing with results processed through LabCorp. On-site procedures such as laceration repair and abscess drainage are available, with IV therapy, symptom-relief medications, and therapeutic injections coming soon.
Although not our primary focus, due to our personal experience with the life changing impacts of modern weight loss treatments and difficulty with primary care access, we also offer streamlined evaluation for weight-loss medications—including GLP-1 medications like Ozempic, Wegovy, and Zepbound—without subscription fees.
What we treat
Providing comprehensive virtual urgent care services for a wide range of conditions including fever, cough, flu, UTIs, STIs, rashes, lacerations, strep throat, ear infections, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, eye infections, allergies, headaches, head injuries, vertigo, weakness, back pain, abscesses (boils), lacerations, and muscle/joint pain and more.

Virtual Care for You: Pricing
All evaluations start with a text message or phone call to discuss if our service is right for you and our availability.

Virtual visits covering a wide range of conditions - $169

We may need to proceed to a house call based on you symptoms, at which point the initial virtual fee is waived.

A more comprehensive in-person house call- starting at $399 for a full evaluation including vital signs checked, physical exam, diagnoses, and prescriptions (if applicable.)

Additional services like point-of-care ultrasound, EKG, injectable medications and IV infusions, laceration repair.

Visits involving these services will range from $449-$699

A complaint that requires IV placement and infusion therapy, lab draw, and an EKG is an example of a visit that would be billed at the top end of that range. Most house calls cost $399-499.

Payment is conveniently accepted electronically via our EMR platform, Push Health.
Insurance: We do not directly accept health insurance but are happy to supply a Superbill for all services rendered that you can submit for reimbursement based on your insurance carriers policies.
Due to healthcare reimbursement regulations, we cannot accept Medicare-eligible patients at this time.
